Terms
Draft, for the pre-launch site.
These terms cover this site and the Hydra early-access programme. Hydra is made by URSIEN LTDA (see the legal notice). Installing Hydra is covered by its own licence agreement.
The site
You can browse the site freely. Please don't try to disrupt it, get around its limits, or use it to send anything unlawful. The forms are for genuine sign-ups and messages.
Signing up
Launch email: we email you once to confirm your address, then once when Hydra launches. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Applying to test early: you must be 18 or over and apply for a PC you own or are allowed to change. We choose testers so that their PCs cover as many different setups as possible, so applying doesn't guarantee a place.
Testing early
If we invite you:
- Your invite and download page are for you alone. Please don't share the link or the builds.
- Test builds are unfinished. Before you install, back up what matters and save your BitLocker recovery key somewhere off the PC. Without the key, you can be locked out of your PC, with no way to get your files back.
- Testing ends when we say so, or when you stop. You can uninstall at any time, and we can end your access, for example when a test round closes.
- If you send us feedback, ideas or reports, we may use them to improve Hydra, with no obligation to you. We never publish your name or your reports without asking you first.
Responsibility
The site and the test builds are provided as they are, during development. We work hard to make them safe, but we can't promise they'll be free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost data or lost time, that come from using them. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product and the programme change. The date below shows the latest version; if a change matters to you, we'll email you about it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Brazil. Questions: write to [email protected].
